I don’t agree with this statement because i have no real experience with the idea of a Radio Play. I think that the experience is much more enjoyable than reading the book because you can understerand how the character is being portrayed and how the book sounds but i don’t think that theres a vison of how the play is. If there was I would need apicture to make it clear. With out the photo your mind can run endlessly. Such as how does E to the C look like? How does Space look like it would need a picture. So as a meadium i feel that it is less effective than a movie or a T.V show.
Then Again I have had no real exprencie with the whole concepts of radio plays, radio in general or an audiobook. The audio book and the radio play are very similar in the concet but one is a book which you read in one go and the other is a weekly play that you can hear as an “tv show”. I find radio boring because you cant pick your songs or listing to a radio play now a days would be pointless because i would rather watch a tv show or movie because its way more entraning but listing to one in class is way more enjoyable then reading the book.
