my super duper paragraph

  1. The corporation disguises  its self by acting as a god send or a good smarten company in poor  undeveloped countries and then  and they also provide long hour, poor pay and very bad working  conditioning. Devolving Countries need as much business as they can receive so they let Big Clothing, Carpet, or other big companies allowed into there countries so there economy can grow. The government will not interfere with the way the business conducts its business as in the working conditions, pay or long hours of work. This Provides the business flexibility. In China were the labor is cheap they have set up  Nike Towns so they provide housing which makes the company look like an smarten company and provides an good image but when you go into an factory its an completely different situation. During the Movie "The Corporation" some people go into an factory in Asia I am presuming china, and they get shouted at by the owner because he knows that he is breaking the law but still does it because his incentives are different because he wants money. Then when the company has raised the standard of living or the overall income per person they will leave and find a new desperate place and the process starts again. Then the old Nike towns etc  will be closed and then the economy will slowly dry up, resulting in the same situation but at  a later date, then the Nike will come back again and it will start again. With the same working conditions and its just unfair but this will keep happening because Nike has been doing this for the last 10 years. Finally, government intervention wont happen due to the fact that they income per person will increase and then the economy for a time will be on the rise. Furthermore the bad pay, bad working conditions and long hours wont effect the government or the company.

- Break opening sentence into two sentences.

- 'devolving countries'?

- there, their, they're

- 'an smarten' (?)

- The factory is in Honduras, not Asia (or China)

Eamon, thanks for posting your paragraph. You have obviously worked hard at it. You must however make reference to terminology from 'documentary conventions'. You are correct about the argument, but the question asks how the documentary filmmaker uses visual rhetoric to portray the idea. You have got the idea, now all you need to do is add the analysis of rhetoric.

Good work.

Mr. Doubt.
